Mechanical vending machines are nice because anyone can handle most issues that may arise. This includes changing prices or removing a jammed coin, but when you attempt to open up the coin mechanism for the first time, it is helpful to have some idea of what you're getting into.

To lessen your learning curve, I've created a video that shows how to disassemble the coin mechanism of an Antares snack and soda combo in order to change the prices of your products.

The coin mech shown is also use on many other vending machines including some other snack and soda machines, some medical vending machines, some kinetic gumball vendors, & even some small mechanical cigarette vending machines.

There are other designs for mechanical coin mechs by other companies, but a good understanding of this mech will allow you to work on most others with no problem!
